6th ISA Gala Award Ceremony: Honoring the Top 10 Best Interior Design Graduation Projects

The Vietnam Student Interior Design Awards (ISA) is an annual competition co-organized by the Vietnam Interior Design Association and the Vietnam Young Interior Designers Community. Its goal is to create a professional contest that provides students in the interior design field with opportunities for practical experience and creativity encouragement.

Now in its sixth year, the award’s prestige and professionalism remain top priorities. It has successfully assembled a panel of judges comprising leading experts from the Asia-Pacific region and attracted thousands of graduation projects from interior design students across 27 universities and colleges nationwide.

For the first time, the presentation and defense sessions of the Top 10 projects in the Vietnam Student Interior Design Awards were held live on a large stage, witnessed by nearly 500 attendees. These distinctive, creative, and passionate presentations were also livestreamed on the Vietnam Young Interior Designers Community fanpage, attracting thousands of views from design enthusiasts across the country.

The Vietnam Student Interior Design Awards selected the most outstanding projects through two rigorous judging rounds and an online voting phase that drew over 10,000 participants.

The First Prize, worth 30 million VND, was awarded to contestant Dinh Van Toan (Hanoi University of Civil Engineering) for the project “Sứ về tinh khôi” (“Porcelain to Purity”).

As a beautiful tradition of the awards, every contestant, judge, and sponsor accompanying the event series received a commemorative trophy shaped like an open door — an inspiring symbol of the awards. This trophy is not only a gift marking a memorable creative journey but also an inspiration that every open door represents an opportunity and a vast future ahead, where young talents begin their professional journey with confidence and relentless aspiration.

Asia-Pacific Student Interior Design Exhibition: Spreading Multicultural Creativity, Inspiring Global Creative Thinking

The Asia-Pacific Student Interior Design Exhibition is a gathering place for unique designs from young talents across the region, creating an open dialogue through the language of forms, light, and materials. Each project here is not only a graduation assignment but also a “creative manifesto” deeply imbued with cultural identity, aesthetic thinking, and the distinctive national spirit of each country.

The exhibition is supported by the Asia-Pacific Space Design Association and features selected works from leading interior design associations, including the Japan Interior Architects/Designers Association (JID), Singapore Interior Designers Society (SIDS), Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID), Thailand Interior Designers Association (TIDA), Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID), and the Taiwan (China) Society of Interior Designers (CSID). Each project offers a vivid insight into how Asia-Pacific youth are approaching contemporary issues through the lens of spatial design. As a result, audiences not only witness a diversity of design languages but also have the opportunity to explore fresh perspectives on identity, locality, and internationalism in interior design.

Through the exhibition, viewers can feel the powerful wave of creativity rising from the younger generation of designers — those who are gradually establishing a new position for the Asia-Pacific region on the global design map. It reflects confidence, proactiveness, and a pioneering spirit, ready to integrate without losing their distinct identity.
