The seminar is part of the Trend 26+ launch activities. Featuring leading speakers and experts in architectural and interior design, the seminar “Vietnam Interior and Architectural Trends 2026–2030” offers analyses and forecasts of the main interior and architectural design trends in Vietnam over the next five years.

The seminar’s content expands from the global context, highlighting major shifts affecting society, aesthetic tastes, and consumer psychology worldwide. It also provides practical examples from the Asia-Pacific region, where many countries are striving to build strong local identities in design.

Speaking at the seminar, Dr. Architect Phan Dang Son — President of the Vietnam Association of Architects — emphasized:
“The launch of Trend 26+, a specialized publication on interior and architectural trends, professionally endorsed by the Vietnam Association of Architects, will contribute a valuable foundation for architecture and interior design to bloom with rich local identity, while confidently integrating internationally towards modernity and sustainability.

The seminar ‘Vietnam Interior and Architectural Trends 2026–2030,’ featuring participation from reputable leading experts, is truly a timely dialogue that resonates and spreads the core spirit of the professional community’s contributions in design, culture, and creativity.”

Architect Le Truong – President of the Vietnam Interior Design Association – also expressed:

“Vietnam’s interior design sector is currently entering a rapid development phase, marked by the emergence of many talented young designers, strong local brands, and a market increasingly attentive to aesthetics, experience, and culture. However, the reality also shows that we still lack effective connections within a creative ecosystem, long-term guidance on a distinctive design language, and support mechanisms for Vietnamese interior design to build brands on the international stage.

With Trend 26+ and today’s seminar, we hope not only to create a short-term ‘boost’ but also to establish a continuous chain: Data – Thinking – Action – aimed at developing Vietnamese interior design trends with a creative and sustainable orientation.”

At the seminar, Ms. Gemma Riberti — Interior Director of WGSN — delivered an insightful presentation introducing global macro trends in interior design for the 2026–2030 period. Ms. Riberti emphasized: “In the field of interior design, strength lies in developing multidimensional connections. ‘Holistic’ products and services — addressing physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual well-being — along with strategies that nurture personal, community, and planetary health, will truly resonate with consumers’ deep needs.”

Building on regional and international perspectives, Architect Hoang Thuc Hao – Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Architects and Founder of the 1+1>2 Architecture Office – also emphasized the role of architecture in “redefining Vietnamese aesthetics from heritage to modernity.” According to him, each era has its own architectural trend and style, but in this phase, Vietnamese architecture will follow the global trend of being Humble – Harmonious – Strong.

The seminar sparked a lively discussion focused on upcoming interior design trends in Vietnam. The central question: “How can Vietnamese interior design create its own identity within the flow of global integration?” not only laid the foundation for the dialogue but also became a “key” to unlocking new directions for the Vietnamese interior design industry. From this, key trends were identified, including: personalization of living spaces; demand for sustainable and essential products; green architecture and interiors; and the celebration of heritage and art within living spaces.

At the seminar, experts discussed and agreed on the perspective that interior design serves as a “third skin” — connecting people, the environment, and cultural identity to create living spaces with a distinctive character, where users can truly be themselves.

The official launch event of Trend 26+ and the seminar on Vietnam’s Interior and Architectural Trends 2026–2030 opened a multidimensional dialogue among architects, designers, businesses, and experts both domestically and internationally. With the emergence of Trend 26+, shaping a unique Vietnamese interior design style is no longer a distant dream but a goal within reach. This marks a crucial step, highlighting the industry’s efforts to preserve identity, fuel creative passion, and gradually affirm Vietnamese design’s confidence on the journey of global integration.
