Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between Vietnam Interior Design Association and Yunus Environment Hub Vietnam to Promote Circular Economy Training

On June 17, 2024, at the office of the Vietnam Interior Design Association, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Vietnam Interior Design Association and Yunus Environment Hub Vietnam (YEHV), the organization that established and coordinates CIRCO Hub Vietnam.

Attending the signing ceremony were Mr. Lê Trương – President of the Vietnam Interior Design Association; Mr. Lưu Việt Thắng – Executive Committee Member and Chief of the Association’s Central Office; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Quỳnh – Executive Committee Member; Ms. Phan Hạnh Tâm – General Director of Yunus Environment Hub Vietnam and Coordinator of CIRCO Hub Vietnam; Mr. Đặng Hoàng Minh – Deputy Director of Yunus Environment Hub Vietnam; along with other members responsible for CIRCO Hub Vietnam.

Within the framework of the signed MoU, Yunus Environment Hub Vietnam and the Vietnam Interior Design Association will collaborate to promote and support member enterprises in building and implementing innovative circular business models, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam. The first training course jointly organized by the Vietnam Interior Design Association and Yunus took place in Hanoi from June 18, 2024, with participation of eight carefully selected member enterprises, evaluated according to the training criteria. Over three days, the course aimed to initially help learners approach and practice business models, circular design strategies, develop systemic thinking, and build operational models for enterprises in the future.

The Vietnam Interior Design Association hopes to continue cooperating with Yunus Environment Hub Vietnam to expand the scope of training courses with suitable content for members in the Central and Southern regions in the near future.

On June 28, 2024, the Chairman of Vietnam Interiors Association signed Decision No. 33/2024/QD-HNT to establish the Communication Committee under Vietnam Interiors Association. The Communication Committee comprises the following members: 1. Mr. Vuong Dao Hoang - Member of the Association, Head of the Committee 2. Mr. Le Quoc Hung - Member of the Association, Deputy Committee 3. Ms. Le Thien Hanh Trang - Member 4. Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - Member 5. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Tuoi – Member 6. Mr. Vũ Thập - Member The Communication Committee is responsible for the following duties: - Advising association leaders on communication activities - Developing a communication plan - Organizing the production of media content - Coordinating with units to organize events, conferences, seminars, discussions, exhibitions, design competitions, social activities, exchanges, and industry introductions - Building a sustainable sponsorship partner network - Managing the association's website and other multimedia channels - Preparing report contents related to communication work for meetings of the Standing Committee and Executive Committee - Performing other tasks as requested by the Association's Board of Directors
