On March 28, 2024, the Asia-Pacific Space Designers Association (APSDA) announced the launch of the “Asia-Pacific Interior Designers’ Accreditation” (AP-ID-AP) Program.
The AP-ID-AP program is recognized by 14 countries and territories, including Australia, Hong Kong, Macao, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand, with representatives from 9 countries present at the launch at the Asia-Pacific Design Center (APDC).
AP-ID-AP is also an officially designated advertising partner in China. The program introduces new standards in interior design by recognizing professional interior designers.
The program aims to elevate the standards of the interior design profession and facilitate professional sharing within the Asia-Pacific community. The council established for this program, composed of experts, will provide a reputable foundation for its implementation.
Phase 1 of registration begins on March 28, 2024, for Group A – APSDA member economies. Phase 2 will start in early June 2024, for Group B – APSDA member economies. Interested interior designers can apply and gain recognition for their skills and expertise.
The “Asia-Pacific Interior Designers’ Accreditation” (AP-ID-AP) program plays a crucial role in shaping the future of cross-border interior design.
