Located at the central plaza of Cannano Park (Huangpu District, Guangzhou), the Exhibition Center impresses with its unique dome design: 39m in diameter, 21m in height, and a total floor area of over 4,000m². It serves as a hub for showcasing research achievements, hosting international exhibitions, and media releases, aiming to become a world-leading nanotechnology exhibition hall.
The architectural highlight is the spherical glulam lattice shell inspired by the sequoia tree, rising from the center and expanding outward in an “apple core” form. This design symbolizes collaboration and sustainable growth across disciplines. Inside, a modern steel frame creates spacious column-free interiors, enhancing openness and the visitor experience.
The spaces are functionally divided: the first floor features five themed exhibition zones; the second floor hosts conference rooms, academic exchange areas, and an open reading space; the third floor offers a 360° panoramic view with café, bar, and salon.
With its innovative design and modern structure, the Cannano Exhibition Center reflects the pursuit of academic excellence, continuously expanding and spreading knowledge nationwide, standing as a true symbol of nanotechnology.
