After the Congress, the Vietnam Interior Design Association, with its significant role and position as a social-professional organization representing the voice of the interior design industry in Vietnam, has attracted and gathered many individuals and organizations to register as members. The Executive Committee assigned responsibilities to each member to actively and proactively develop and finalize the management documents and operational systems of the Association, submitting them to the Ministry of Home Affairs for approval. At the same time, the Association strengthened its communication and promotional efforts to enhance the image of the Vietnam Interior Design Association. The Association organized and represented professional sponsorship for several activities, such as sponsoring and co-organizing the Interior Design Student Festival; sponsoring and organizing the Kitchen Insight Plus kitchen space design contest; judging and awarding prizes for the 2023 Vietnam Wooden Furniture Design Competition; and participating in the seminar on the role of enterprises and social-professional organizations in training and scientific research.
At the meeting, Mr. Lê Trương – President of the Vietnam Interior Design Association – clearly identified two major goals that the Association needs to focus on during the 2023–2028 term: building and promoting the development of the Vietnamese interior design industry; and connecting and facilitating related sectors such as manufacturing, construction, electromechanics, training, and media to serve the development of six professional groups. The Association will actively propose and recommend policies to state management agencies related to the legal rights and interests of businesses in the interior design field, especially for those working in design.
